Windows:
CCCP+Mediaplayer classic
*nix/*bsd:
Mplayer or VLC
Mac OSX:
QT+Perian & Mplayer/VLC (QT+perian doesnt work with everything so you still need VLC or Mplayer for the stuff that doesnt)
