Anna Tsuchiya – Switch On!

So, this may seem a bit odd given that we’re not exactly working on Kamen Rider Fourze (which, if you’re not aware, this song is the OP to).  But if you’ve been following Over-Time’s releases of it, you may notice a remarkable similarity between our translation here and theirs. The reason for this is that they are the same – this is a joint project between us and them, with the translation being supplied by the guy who does their Fourze.

If you haven’t already, I strongly recommend you head over to their site - http://over-ti.me/ - and check the show out. As far as Japanese rubber suit men fighting kid’s shows go, it’s been great fun so far, and new episodes coming out are always one of the high points of my week.

The video itself is kind of… interesting. The song itself is great, but, well… you can see for yourself. Not exactly full of thrilling action. And I dunno about you, but personally I don’t find the Ankh’s Mother look all that appealing.

Do as Infinity – Ariadne no Ito

And here’s our new year’s release. It’s not much but I haven’t really had a proper computer to do subbing on in the last few weeks. Although I finished timing this before my comp broke down, it still took a while before releasing because aaron_yume’s internet was too shitty to upload the encode (damn you Mexicans!). I decided to release it now instead of at 12 to make it seem like I have a life.

Anyway, not many releases lately, but that’s partly because of my comp dying on me. You can blame the rest on various other people.  Car might actually be faster this year (I might’ve said this last year as well? lol) and we’ll definitely finish Angel bank and do some other drama projects.

I’d also like to thank everyone involved with the Hurri project, we wouldn’t have gotten the “Worst fansub shit of the year 2011″ award without your help.  Oh, and I’d like to thank my cats.

Anyway, Happy new year!

PS: This is also the fourth anniversary release. Hopefully we can do an actual anniversary release for the fifth one.

So I hadn’t even heard this song before I decided to see how badly Renai fansubs must’ve shat all over it. And boy did they fuck that up (Unless you have  some kind of weird fetish for bad encoding and karaoke: example). So because I kinda started liking the song I decided to sub it properly. Found myself a vob at jpopsuki (Renai used the tv-rip, god knows why) and noticed that Kiwi-musume had a translation of the lyrics up (translated by Megchan though!).

Laser Beam

It’s been a while since we’ve done any PV releases and that’s because I wasn’t really sure what to do with it. We started doing PVs without karaoke and hardsubbed, and those kinda sucked. Then after a while we started doing karaoke. However, the earlier PVs without karaoke didn’t suck cause of the lack of karaoke, they just sucked cause of the horrid typesetting and encoding. So I decided that since we stopped doing karaoke we go back to the beginning, fix those things and we’d have some good PV subs! Perfume’s Laser Beam is the first PV that will be released like this.

You might notice that the tag on the file says “HaroSaigo”. That’s because this is a joint release with that lazy mexican bastard over at Saigoyume.com . (Not actually racism as he’s just living in Mexico and isn’t actually Mexican himself.) He finally ended up doing something and did the translation, timing and encoding for this PV. I did the typesetting so basically I did all the work anyway (Just joking of course for those of you who don’t get sarcasm).

I seriously hate writing release posts. I’ve been thinking all day about what to write for this post and I have no idea. So that’s why i came up with the idea to write a release post about hating release posts! Anyway, here’s Shiina Ringo’s Gibbs with subs and sutff like that.

HaroRangers’ 3rd Anniversary

It’s  February  13 again! Which means as you could have guessed from the title of this post that it’s our third anniversary. I’m not sure if it counts since the site wasnt even up at the time (I was planning to go irc only at first). It is the day I uploaded the first release though. Which I wont link here cause it sucked ass. We did a v2 of this pv for our first anniversary which you can get here. The site itself got made later but  I forgot when that was. So that’s why the release of our first pv is considered the anniversary. Even though it sucked ^^.

So it makes sense that the first release to celebrate this would be a PV too! Though we had a lot more planned for this we’ll probably still release some cool things this week. Stuff like Ningen no Shoumei episode 8 will probably take a bit longer but they’ll get released soon. We’ll be sure to have the series finished this year! ;P
