Here is a collaboration project between HaroRangers and Onegai~Fansubbing!!!: the PV for Idoling!!!’s second single, Snow Celebration. This song was released on January 23, 2008 and was a main track on the final single with Idoling!!!’s original 9-member lineup. Snow Celebration was used as the image song for Hot Fantasy Odaiba 2007-2008 and ranked as high as #9 on the Oricon weekly singles chart.

Usually HaroRangers releases are pretty good, but this one is unfortunately flawed. The video is interlaced and the AR is not correct.

Didn’t I tell you, Drazic? I’m an oddball when it comes to encoding. I encoded this from the DVD, which uses interlaced video and aspect ratio signaling. Why are interlacing and aspect ratio signaling considered acceptable in MPEG-2, but not MPEG-4? Isn’t the whole point of video compression to reduce the file size while retaining the quality of the source video?
